Mens Outreach Group

Quite often men are at their happiest, meeting with friends to enjoy events such as curry nights or Italian nights. Men should be able to meet on a fairly regular basis for a variety of activities, and we should aim to actively promote these to friends to come along and join us.

Around 20—25 men meet on the last Thursday of every second month at various restaurants around Ayr and share a meal and fellowship, and get to know each other a little more.

Telephone Prayer Chain

Newton Wallacetown Prayer Chain is comprised of members who believe wholeheartedly that prayer is an effective means of communication with God. Individually, and collectively they will pray on behalf of those who have requested prayer either for themselves or others. Requests are always treated confidentially and new prayer requests are always warmly welcomed.

Please use the form to below to make any requests for inclusion in the Prayer Chain. You may make requests completely anonymously if you wish.

You can also call our co-ordinator on 01292 288956 who will then pass the request down the Prayer Chain members.

You can be assured of complete confidentiality for all prayer requests.

Friendship Club

This group was established in February 2017 to provide older adults with an opportunity to meet their friends and form new relationships with others over a cup of tea.

We meet in Hall A between 1.30 and 3.30pm on Friday afternoons throughout the year. There is an average attendance of 22-24 people (men and women) who enjoy a good blether and sometimes take part in quizzes.

If you can volunteer to give lifts to some of our members to and from the club please contact Eleanor Lunn on 01292 268310 or speak with her at Church.

The Craft Group

This group has been going for many years. We meet on a fortnightly basis on a Saturday afternoon . We meet from 2-4 pm in hall B in the Newton Wallacetown church halls.

This group craft sessions are with lesson lead demonstrations. We do a lot of different card mainly crafts, stamping and techniques.

We are a friendly bunch who like to chat as well as craft. The cost of the afternoon is £5 and this includes all your craft materials and a cup of tea.

We would love you to join us, dates are still to be confirmed for the new session.
