About us
About Our Church
Newton Wallacetown Church was formed by the successful union of Newton-on-Ayr Church and Wallacetown Church in May 2010. We meet in the former Newton-on-Ayr Church buildings located on Main Street, within walking distance of Ayr town centre. Around 80 people gather for worship each Sunday morning. Sunday services are held at 11am combining the best of traditional and modern worship.

Music
Music is provided by our Musical Director/Organist who is often accompanied by a Praise band, led by Joyce Fenton. Between them, they fit the music to the theme of worship. We also use multi-media which certainly enhances the worship experience.

Our Vision
Our Vision is simple, "Encouraging you to know Jesus".
How do we do this?
- By being a warm, friendly, growing family of God
- By bringing the Bible to life
- By being a praying church
- By serving God and others

What to expect on a Sunday Morning
Our service starts at 11am in the main church building, all ages come together for the first part of the service, which usually starts with any church notices, some time of worship, uplifting the offering and a kids talk. The children are then invited to go to their activities, J.A.M (Jesus and Me) for children aged 3-7 and Flashlight for children and young people aged 8+. If you have children under 3 we have a creche facility available from the start of the service but you are welcome to join in the first part of the service.

Once the children are away to their activities, we enjoy some more worship, read the scriptures and hear a sermon.
Our service is usually finished no later than 12pm and everyone is invited into the large hall for tea, coffee and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to get to know members of the church
